Only a week until our Time Management session.
We will be going beyond the typical Todo list. Everyone has the same 1440 minutes every day - how do successful people use their limited minutes more effectively?

We will be talking about how to focus on what is IMPORTANT rather than what is urgent. We will cover planning your time - sometimes WHEN you do different types of tasks is as important as what tasks you do. We will talk about how can improve your FOCUS on the high payback tasks with distractions all around.

This will be another short (30 minutes) convenient (ZOOM) session on a topic that everyone can benefit from. It is provided at no cost courtesy of NEO Fund and the Ashtabula Chamber of Commerce.

Registration is required at:

Connie - I love the picture and reflections. It's so true that sometimes you really have to step away for a moment to appreciate how much progress you've made.

I often find myself wishing I had more time to devote to the market and saying things like “well, if we didn’t have a farm” or “well, if the Army didn’t pull my husband away for travel so much” or “well, if our kids weren’t so little” then I could devote every second to the market. But the market wouldn’t exist without any of those situations.

This picture is a great reminder that sometimes progress seems slow, but persistence is key. Photo taken late June 2018, a few days before we officially closed on our building purchase.

Ryan - Great Gesture!
Hospice of the Western reserve - thanks for all you've been doing.

Back in March, Cloven Hoof Brewing Co. in Ashtabula let us know they'd like to make a donation to support our patients and the services we provide. We're always honored to work with community partners, and this was no exception. However, not every gift we receive is tied to the creation and sale of a limited-edition imperial hazy IPA!

Cloven Hoof wanted to create a one-time special beer and then donate the proceeds. The Verdunator – named after Dr. Mark Verdun, who donated the ingredients – was launched at a kickoff event March 6. It was sold out in less than a month, and Cloven Hoof owner Ryan Sposito presented us with a check for the more than $2,000 raised.

"This community responded with overwhelming love and support. The kick-off party was a great success and even with the shutdown, the VERDUNATOR sold out in four weeks," Ryan told us. "Our thanks to the kind and caring workers at Hospice of the Western Reserve. I'm sure their services are being stretched during this most difficult time. My thanks to my loyal customers!" Cheers to all our friends and supporters in the community!
