Tonight's (11/16 @7pm) 101 info session is an opportunity to get to know the principal, Kevin Denton, and to dig in to the "roots"--the mission, vision and philosophy--behind STEAD.

Tomorrow's 202 info session is for those who want to dig deeper, learn more about the structures, systems and elements of STEAD's program that will bring the roots to life.

Santa is coming! Santa Photo Experience will be returning November 27th through December 24th located at the newly opened Guest Services at the Clock Tower.

The Reunion Development in Commerce City will be seeing little libraries popping up around the area with the recent donation from the Reunion Community Foundation and Oakwood Homes. Each Little Free Library holds 20 books and were constructed by students at the Colorado Homebuilding Academy. This literacy effort is a response to last November's Ballot Issue 6A, that would have allowed for library funding and was voted down by less than 4,000 votes. The Colorado Homebuilding Academy (CHA) has expanded its training to local communities by erecting construction pop-up bootcamps in an effort to make learning a trade during the pandemic safer and more accessible. Since March, CHA has trained and placed more than 60 people in Colorado’s booming homebuilding industry with companies requesting more trained people. CHA’s most recent pop-up bootcamp in the Reunion community in Commerce City is helping train 25 people who are learning construction skills in the hopes of securing a job in the homebuilding sector.

We are looking for artistic friends to be part of a fundraising event benefiting The Colorado Homebuilding Academy (CHA). CHA was selected as the beneficiary of "Flower Power," an event at the Orchard Town Center. CHA students have constructed 15 - 20 planters that need to be spruced up and auctioned off. The proceeds will assist CHA in continuing to offer free construction training to people who want to get back on their feet after challenging times or who may want to shift careers.

You have creative license to have fun and make a beautiful piece of art for someone’s backyard. We need your piece of art completed by July 6. The event runs July 10 - August 7 at the Orchard Town Center in Westminster.
