Bloomin' Buddies Shoreline Restoration and Erosion Control - Natural Biodegradable products/Native Plants/ buffers/greenbelts/Water quality/riparian value protection

A natural soft engineering process using biodegradable products and native plants to restore shorelines on lakes/rivers, controls erosion, ice push, filters sediments and storm water run-off to keep our water quality high and clean. Scientifically proven by Dr. Patrick Lindemann, studied and implemented by MSU. I am a Michigan National Shoreline Professional studied, trained and certified through Michigan State University. This process can also be implemented in the upland area of your home or business using these natural products and native plants. The roots of Michigan Native Plants can reach depths of 10 feet or more. They provide erosion protection by binding the soil and creating a barrier to erosion while filtering sediments, storm water run-off which provides cleaner water quality. Let me educate you on all the benefits to everyone, drop me a note, send me an email, visiting my website or give me a call. This process offers many choices to design, plant choices, products, and has reduced costs to conventional landscapes; shoreline seawalls (steel/wood); and deters geese from your lawn.

With all the diseases spread by misquotes and other insects these wonderful bats eat them, which in turn protects us! We should consider putting more bat homes around our homes.

Native Plants vs The Ever Expanding List of Cultivars : Best Bets

Some nurseries seeing the positives in natural plants versus cultivars...remember their root systems offer many benefits too...erosion control and they filter sediments, chemicals, and storm water runoff to keep our environment and waters pristine...a benefit to all of us!

The use of native plants is not for all gardeners and that comes to no surprise for me.

I had a wonderful experience this past summer, went up in a 4 seater prop plane, toured the whole chain of lakes...who can ever imagine this beauty taken away by poor water quality, pollution, invasive plants and eroding areas. We all enjoy the lakes, rivers and streams of Michigan. This photo is just one part of the Chain of Lakes. Miles and Miles of beauty!

Shoreline buffers/beltways are a manageable, beautiful solution to help retain our water quality, provide a home and food for habitat, provide waterfront property owners options to conventional sea walls (steel/wood) providing a less costly solution to erosion and retain the value of the property.
